Pathways • Employers

Build a pathway into your industry.

Employers can help young people understand what success looks like in real roles, see careers they may not know exist, and compete for internships and work experiences that can change what comes next.

Four ways an employer can participate.

01

Build a Role Success Profile

Identify successful people in an important role so Sportlinc can better understand the patterns associated with thriving in that occupation.

02

Offer internships

Make appropriate opportunities available and independently select qualified young people who choose to apply.

03

Create career exposure

Host a workplace visit, speak to a cohort, explain an industry, or help young people see roles they may never have considered.

04

Sponsor the work

Fund a Role Success Profile, a youth cohort, or broader regional program capacity.

If a young person earns an internship.

We ask employers to make the experience developmental through three simple checkpoints.

Expectations

Define responsibilities, workplace standards, and what success looks like.

Progress Check-In

Provide a structured evaluation and coaching conversation during the experience.

Final Evaluation

Give direct feedback on performance, growth, strengths, development needs, and next steps.

A Different Kind of Lead Form

Tell us how you want to participate.

The employer interest form qualifies the partnership without assuming you are buying a service. It asks about your organization, roles, internships, sponsorship, and the kind of community partnership you want to explore.

Separate from Sportlinc

The form may also ask whether you want information about using MindMap inside your own organization for hiring or workforce development. That is optional and is treated as a separate commercial conversation from the Sportlinc charitable partnership.

Start with a role, an internship, or a conversation.

You do not need to know exactly how you want to participate. The form is designed to help Sportlinc understand the opportunity and determine the best next step.
